What do you need? A good Bachelors plus Masters degree obtained with above average grades (field-related PhD desirable) in one of the following disciplines:

• Computer science, electrical engineering
• Physics, mathematics
• Industrial engineering, information systems
• Social and economic science

In addition to this you will have a Curriculum Vitae that includes both periods of time spent abroad as well as work placements; superior knowledge and a passion for science; the ability to work in an organised, methodical way; you will be happy to keep records of your results for your colleagues and to present them convincingly in German; you will thrive on looking beyond the boundaries of your own specialisation, seek to cover new ground, you will have the ability to think both strategically as well as outside the box, be open-minded and possess leadership potential. And last but not least: you will have a very good, if possible classical general knowledge, and a very good level of English.
